Action Sports Maui
A wind-sports school that dates to 1996. It calls itself Hawaii's original kiteboarding school and says it was among the first to bring wingsurfing to the islands. The menu is kiteboarding, kitefoil, wingsurf, windsurf, surf and stand-up paddle, with kids classes for most of them. It is family-owned.

The school
Born in Maui's windsurfing scene
The About page says Action Sports Maui was founded in 1996 out of the island's pro-windsurfing community, calls the operation family-owned and run, and says it is part of Maui Sports Unlimited alongside Surf Club Maui and Big Kahuna Adventures. It does not name its owners, so we do not. The home page says over 29 years and Tripadvisor says over 30; we use the founding year.
Instructors named on the site by first name include Gonzo, Kevin, Fran and Francesco on kiteboarding, Sarge and Jonathan on surfing, with Suzie handling scheduling. Wind sports run on Maui's north shore and surf lessons on the south shore, so the meeting spot depends on the lesson; your confirmation names it.
